Ten Lords-a-Leaping (In Utah)

I still look back on our October adventure as a compilation of my favorite moments. We spent 10 amazing days hiking, exploring and taking in breathtakingly fresh views.

We fit in a TON of stuff during our trip including Colorado National Monument, Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Capitol Reef National Park, Scenic Highway 12, Bryce Canyon National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Zion National Park and Valley of Fire State Park (PHEW!).

Utah is full of beautiful rocks, abundant land, and mountainous ranges. Deciding to visit all the parks together was amazing, and honestly relatively easy in comparison to other National Park visits.

Our days were full of hiking and taking pictures of the formations that left us awestruck. We completed hikes anywhere from .3 miles to 6 miles and enjoyed each and every one.

We pushed ourselves during hikes, challenged our bodies and minds during inclines and increased our knowledge of structures throughout each park. This trip was once in a lifetime and we would recommend the adventure to ANYONE. Each park seemed so similar and different at the same time. Every park was beautiful and full of hiking, but each park left a different imprint.

Arches National Park was full of natural made arches and free formed hiking. We enjoyed our day and night here, seeing both the open blue and twinkling star filled sky.

Canyonlands National Park captivated us with seemingly endless cliffs and continued arch work.

Capitol Reef National Park stood the test of time. We saw history and culture here while exploring the park.

Bryce Canyon made us feel like true adventurers, hiking to the depths of the canyon with Thor himself.

Finally, Zion National Park made our hearts beat faster on a hike that we will never forget, Angels Landing. Not for the faint of heart, but worth every step taken in our hiking boots.

Completing the Mighty Five will certainly be hard to beat! We are still working on our full guide for this trip so stay tuned!
